Exclusive Lunch Partnership Announced

Indie Film THE HEADMISTRESS Partnering with Great Harvest – Oconomowoc

Oconomowoc, WI  – The filmmakers behind the upcoming supernatural horror-thriller THE HEADMISTRESS, which will begin production in Oconomowoc this upcoming weekend, have announced a partnership with the Great Harvest Bread Co. & Café – Oconomowoc to be their exclusive lunch provider.

“We were location scouting in Oconomowoc one day last month and stopped at Great Harvest to grab lunch, and we were hooked,” said the film’s Madison-based producers Glenn Chung, Christopher A. Micklos, and Jay Sapiro.

“We tracked down owner Jon Rasmussen and hit it off…and before long we’d struck a deal to make Great Harvest – Oconomowoc our exclusive lunch provider throughout the course of the shoot!”

Rasmussen, who owns the Oconomowoc café and another Great Harvest in Delafield, says that he was intrigued by the idea of a feature film shooting in the local community and excited to have the full cast and crew lunching on his sandwiches, salads, and soups while they are in town!

“They’ll have twenty or more cast and crew members enjoying a Great Harvest – Oconomowoc lunch either in the café or on location every day while they’re in town,” Rasmussen said, “and I think that’s really exciting for us.”

THE HEADMISTRESS will be the second film from Three Tortured Minds, the film production company owned by Chung, Micklos, and Sapiro. Their first film, THE NURSERY, was released last year by respected indie horror distributor Uncork’d Entertainment. It is widely available on DVD, cable- and satellite-on-demand, and on multiple digital streaming services, including iTunes, Vudu, Amazon Prime, Tubi, and many other. Reviewers called THE NURSERY “chilling”, “awesome”, “creepy as hell”, “a real surprise”, and “one of the best horror films to come out of 2018”!

They will bring a small but experienced team of filmmakers and actors from around the state and across the country to Oconomowoc for the 10-day shoot. The film’s cast members have appeared in hits like CHICAGO FIRE, Amazon Prime’s THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, and HBO’s PATERNO, as well as dozens of independent films.
